Realm Tiles — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Realm Tiles — the website, the Forge Builder, the file library, the subscription, the Discord, any of it — you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree with them, that's okay, but please don't use the service.

2. Who we are

Realm Tiles is owned and operated by Shepherd Creations LLC, a limited liability company based in Tuttle, Oklahoma. I'm Shepherd, the founder and designer. When these terms say "I," "me," or "we," that's Realm Tiles / Shepherd Creations LLC. When they say "you," that's you — the person using the service.

3. The service

Realm Tiles gives you:

• A library of 3D-printable terrain files — modular castle, dungeon, and tabletop pieces I designed by hand
• The Forge Builder — a tool for laying out and planning your builds in 3D
• The Round Table subscription — ongoing access to the growing catalog
• The Discord community — "the Realm" — where the community gathers, votes on what I build next, and hangs out

I'm one person building and running all of this. I add to it, improve it, and occasionally change it. I'll do my best to keep it up and working, but I can't promise it'll never have a hiccup.

4. Your account

Your account is yours — one per person, real details, don't hand out the keys. Shared and duplicate accounts are how subscription systems get gamed, and that cost lands on everyone else in the Realm. So:

• Give accurate info. Sign up with a real email and real details so I can actually serve and support you.
• Keep it secure. Your login is yours — don't share it. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account per person. No stacking multiple accounts to game subscriptions.
• If something's wrong, tell me. If you think your account's been compromised, email support@realmtiles.com right away and I'll help you lock it down.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Month to month, cancel whenever, keep what you already paid for:

• The Round Table subscription is billed monthly.
• You can cancel anytime. When you cancel, you keep your access through the end of the period you've already paid for — I don't cut you off mid-month.
• No refunds for partial months. Because it's a month-to-month subscription and not a one-time purchase, a month already billed isn't refunded — but you're never locked in, and canceling is always one message or a couple clicks away.
• If a payment fails, I'll reach out before anything pauses. I'd rather email you than surprise you.

6. File licensing — please read this one

This is the part that matters most, so here it is straight:

The files you buy or unlock through a subscription are licensed to you for PERSONAL, NON-COMMERCIAL use.

What that means in practice:

• ✅ Print as many as you want, for yourself. Unlimited copies for your own tabletop, your own collection, your own games. Go wild.
• ✅ Print for your household. Your immediate family or household under your roof is fine.
• ❌ You can't sell the prints. You may not sell, trade commercially, or profit from physical pieces made from Realm Tiles files.
• ❌ You can't redistribute the files. No sharing, reposting, reselling, or handing the digital files to anyone else. The files are for you and your printers only.
• ❌ You can't share your account. Your access is yours, not a group login.

Want to sell prints? Great — I actually want you to, legally. That's what the commercial license is for. Head to the Commercial Licensing page to get set up, or write to commercial@realmtiles.com and we'll talk it through. It's a clean, real license, straight from the person who designed the pieces.

7. Intellectual property

Every Realm Tiles design is my original work, and it's protected. Buying a file or subscribing gives you the personal-use license in section 6 — it does not transfer ownership of the design.

You're welcome to modify or remix pieces for your own personal builds, but:

• Any derivative work still can't be sold or redistributed without a commercial license.
• If you show off modified pieces publicly, credit Realm Tiles.
• Modifying a piece doesn't magically make it yours to commercialize. The underlying design is still mine.

8. Prohibited uses

This is the short list of things that would actually hurt the Realm. It's not a gotcha list — it's the handful of behaviors that put the whole thing at risk for everyone who plays fair:

• Redistributing, uploading, or sharing the digital files anywhere
• Mass-reproducing prints beyond personal use without a commercial license
• Selling physical prints without a commercial license
• Sharing, selling, or renting out your account credentials
• Trying to break, scrape, or abuse the service or its infrastructure

If you break these, I may have to close your account — and I'll tell you why (see section 11).

9. Discord community rules — "the Realm"

Be someone people are glad to see in the server. That's the rule; the rest is detail:

• Treat people well. No harassment, hate, threats, or making the Realm a worse place to be.
• Follow the community guidelines posted in the server.
• Don't use the Realm to break these terms — no swapping files, no pirating, no reselling schemes in the chat.
• Moderators (that's me or those I appoint) can remove anyone who violates the rules, to keep the Realm a good place for everyone.

Being in the Realm is a privilege I extend to the community. I'd rather never have to remove anyone — but I will if it protects everyone else.

10. Warranty & replacement

Realm Tiles stands behind its files and (where applicable) physical products. For the specifics on what's covered, replacements, and how to reach me if something's wrong with a print or a file, see the Warranty & Replacement policy on realmtiles.com. Short version: if I got something wrong on my end, I'll make it right.

11. Termination

Either of us can walk:

• I may close an account if someone breaks these terms — pirating files, reselling without a license, abusing the community, that kind of thing. If I do, I'll explain why. I'm not going to ban someone in silence over a misunderstanding.
• You may cancel anytime. No penalty, no hoops. You keep access through the end of your paid period.

12. Disclaimers

Realm Tiles files are provided "as-is." I put real care into every piece, but:

• 3D printing has variability. Your printer, your filament or resin, your settings, and your experience all affect the result. A piece that prints beautifully for one person may need tuning for another.
• I can't guarantee a specific outcome on your specific setup. What I can do is design good pieces and help you when something's off — reach out and I will.

13. Limitation of liability

This clause exists because a one-person company can't absorb open-ended legal exposure — without a cap, a single claim could end Realm Tiles entirely.

I'm a solo creator doing my honest best. To the extent the law allows, Realm Tiles / Shepherd Creations LLC isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service. And in any case, my total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid Realm Tiles in the 12 months before the claim. That's the standard, fair line, and I'm holding to it.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any dispute that can't be worked out directly will be handled in the state or federal courts of Grady County, Oklahoma, where Shepherd Creations LLC is registered — and you and I both agree to that jurisdiction.

The small-claims carveout: nothing here stops either of us from bringing a matter in small-claims court if it qualifies. Sometimes that's the simplest, fairest way to sort something out, and I'd rather leave that door open than force everything into a courtroom.

15. Changes to these terms

If I update these terms, I'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. For any material change — something that actually affects your rights or what you're agreeing to — I'll give notice through the community and/or email before it takes effect, so you're never blindsided. No quiet rewrites.

One last thing. I know nobody reads terms of service. I wrote these anyway, because you deserve to know what you're agreeing to when you spend money with a one-person company and trust it with your hobby.

Realm Tiles isn't a faceless storefront. It's me, a CAD file, a print farm, and a few hundred people in a Discord who tell me what to build next. These terms exist to protect that — the work, the community, and you. Not to catch anyone out.
