  • Realm Tiles offers unparalleled modularity. Walls can slot anywhere on the grid (thanks to universal channels between tiles), allowing truly infinite layouts—build asymmetric castles, weird alcoves, or shift defenses mid-game. Combined with rock-solid vertical stacking and print-in-place functionality, it's designed to be the last terrain system you'll ever need.

  • Glue is never needed—the snap-together design is siege-proof and secure enough for intense play (even kid crashes). Magnets are optional: paid versions include hidden pocket options for extra hold if desired. The system is designed for play right off the printer, but the core works perfectly without any extras.

  • Realm Tiles is fully compatible with static objects from other systems (drop minis, props, or scenery freely). However, it doesn't use locking clip systems like OpenLOCK—instead, it relies on its own superior slot-anywhere walls and channels for smoother, more flexible builds.

  • Realm Tiles uses a 1 3/8" effective grid square size, ideal for standard 28mm heroic scale minis in D&D and most tabletop RPGs. It provides plenty of room for detailed bricks and smooth functionality while maintaining precise mini placement. You can easily scale the STLs up in your slicer for larger games or bigger tables.

  • Kickstarter launches March 3, 2026, at 8 AM CST. The free starter pack (gatehouse demo with twin towers, print-in-place doors/portcullis, and core modularity showcase) drops at launch—join the waitlist now to get it first and early backer perks.

  • Yes—fully optimized for standard FDM printers (PLA/PETG recommended). Supports are very minimal (mostly none needed on current pieces), and I'm designing everything to stay support-free where possible for fast, clean prints.
