Welcome to the team. If you're here, you're thinking about selling Realm Tiles prints as part of your shop — and I'd love to have you on board. This page walks through how it works: the license, what comes with it, what we ask of each other, and how we build something good together. Take your time, read through, and if anything doesn't quite fit your situation, just reach out. There's almost always a way to make it work.
What It Costs
Same license, same perks. The longer you commit, the more you save.
You buy files the same as any customer.
Every pack you want to sell, you buy at retail from the shop. Current catalog is about $155 for everything released so far. You can buy the whole vault or just the packs you plan to sell — whichever fits your business. And once you're licensed, every future release is 15% off for you, so it scales with you as you grow.
💡 Little insider tip from your future business partner: subscribe first, get approved, then buy your files. That 15% licensee discount kicks in the moment you're approved — so the full ~$155 vault becomes ~$132 for you. Save yourself the coin. Every licensee should be doing it in this order anyway.
What Comes With the License
A proper welcome packet.
Once you're approved and your first cycle is paid, you get a full brand asset packet delivered — everything you need to represent RT correctly on your storefront from day one:
- Official Realm Tiles Print Partner logo/badge — yours as a verified licensee, for use on your shop, listings, and social
- RT master logo files — full logo, wordmark, and shield mark, in SVG + PNG, dark and light versions, multiple sizes
- Brand usage guidelines — how to use the logos, RT color palette, spacing and sizing rules
- Approved listing copy — "Made with Realm Tiles designs" language you can copy-paste onto your product listings
- Your licensee ID — for customer verification if they want to confirm you're an official partner

The right to sell — legally clean.
Written permission to print and sell any RT design you've purchased. No royalties per unit, no revenue reporting, no takedown notices ever. You focus on your shop, I focus on making the files you're selling. That's the deal.
The RT brand behind you.
You're listed on realmtiles.com/makers as an official partner. Real community endorsement — customers can verify you're the real deal, which builds trust quickly and helps your shop stand out.
A private licensee channel + direct line to me.
Commercial licensees get their own private Discord channel. You'll have my ear directly, and I'll be checking in — asking your input on new files, sharing early previews, working out the details of what we're building together.
Early access to new files.
Want the next pack a couple days before it hits the public shop? It's yours. Give you a head start on adding it to your inventory.
Beta test invites.
You're printing this stuff for money — your quality bar is my quality bar. Before I release new pack types or big changes to how the system works, I want licensee eyes on it first. Your feedback shapes what ships.
Occasional free files.
As trust builds and we work together over time, expect me to send a free pack your way now and then. It's not something I can promise upfront or put in a contract — but if you're a good partner, I'll act like it. That's how relationships work.
How We Work Together
These are the ground rules that keep the RT ecosystem healthy for everyone — customers, licensees, and the community. They're not tricks or gotchas. They're the guardrails that make this a fair partnership.
- Display the RT logo on your storefront. Every listing where you sell RT prints should visibly identify RT as the design source. Your welcome packet has everything you need. This is what makes you a verified partner — customers can trust what they're getting.
- Sell to individuals. This license is for one-off customer sales — the tabletop hobbyist, the DM building a campaign, the collector who wants a specific set. Not for mass production, not for supplying game stores or hobby chains with regular inventory, not for licensing to another business.
- Represent the brand well. Quality photos on your listings. Responsive to your customers. Show up in the Discord community if you can. The RT partner directory is a signal of quality — let's keep it that way together.
- Keep your license active. If you stop paying, you stop selling. Physical prints you've already delivered stay with your customers (no clawback — those sales are final). But the moment your license lapses, new sales stop and the RT logo comes off your storefront.
When to Reach Out
Here's the thing about a partnership: sometimes something comes up that the standard license doesn't perfectly fit. When that happens, please reach out — most of these conversations end up being better for everyone than trying to squeeze into the standard structure.
Big orders and volume growth.
The license comfortably covers up to about $10,000/year in RT print sales. If you're heading past that — awesome, that's the point where "small maker with a commercial license" turns into "real distribution partner" territory, and we should figure out what fits. Bigger revenue often means better terms. Message me, we'll work it out together.
Custom work and special orders.
A customer wants something modified for their build, or has a specific vision that goes beyond a standard print? That's often a really good opportunity, and it might not fit the standard commercial license framework. Reach out — we'll figure out what makes sense. Might end up being a more lucrative deal for you than a straight print sale.
Custom pack ideas.
You've spotted a gap in the RT catalog — pieces or themes that customers keep asking for that don't exist yet? Send me the idea. If it makes sense, we can work it out together, either as an official RT release with proper attribution or a different kind of arrangement. That's exactly what the private licensee channel is for.
Kickstarter or batch fulfillment situations.
Standard KS or batch fulfillment platforms aren't covered by the license — those turn into distribution channels quickly. But if you've got a specific situation you're wondering about, message me before you commit to anything. Sometimes we can structure something that works.
The Guardrails — Please Don't Cross These
These are the boundaries that protect the RT ecosystem for everyone. They're not gotchas — they're the things that would genuinely harm the brand and the community if broken. If any of these come up, we'll have to end the partnership. But if you're the kind of maker who'd fit here in the first place, none of these should be an issue.
Modified files can't be sold as RT designs.
If you're printing RT files, they're sold as RT designs — unmodified official releases. Personal print adjustments (scaling, minor tweaks for a specific customer) are totally fine — that's just being a good printer. What we can't do is sell a modified version as though it were an official RT product. That confuses customers and undermines the brand for everyone.
Modded RT files stay free — always — and live in the subscriber community.
The RT community has an active modding scene, and it's welcome. People remix designs, create variants, share ideas — that's how any good creative community grows. Modded files live in the Round Table subscriber community — the private mod-share channel in Discord and the subscriber-only community page on realmtiles.com. Both are subscriber-gated: you need to be an active Round Table subscriber (Founding Knight or Knight) to access, share, or download modded files.
Mods are a free shared resource for the subscriber community. Not sold for profit, not by licensees, not by anyone. Mods are a community gift.
No third-party "RT-compatible" packs sold under your brand.
Please don't design your own 3D pieces, brand them as "RT expansions" or "compatible with Realm Tiles," and sell them under your own name. That splits the ecosystem and confuses customers about what's official. If you've got design skills and an idea, message me — we can talk about doing it together, and that's usually a much better path anyway (see the "Custom pack ideas" section above).
Digital files can't be re-sold or shared.
Your license covers YOU selling physical prints. The digital files stay yours to print — you can't sublicense them, share them privately, upload them elsewhere, or sell them as digital downloads.
What if I'd rather design files than print them?
Then let's talk about a different kind of partnership entirely. Realm Tiles is always open to bringing on commissioned artists to design new packs, expansions, and additions to the catalog. There's already a small team on the design side, and I'm open to more if the right person shows up.
If designing 3D content is more your thing than running a print shop, the commercial license isn't for you — but the artist path might be. Message me, share some of your work, and we'll see if there's a fit. Different conversation, but same team.
Why It's Set Up This Way
The license fee isn't paying for file access — you're buying the files at retail like everyone else. What you're paying for is the right to sell them, the partnership with me, the brand endorsement, and everything that comes with being an official Realm Tiles Print Partner. That's the real value.
I'm not building a giveaway program. RT files and the RT brand are what I've spent this time building. But I want licensees to actually succeed — which is why the perks, the discount, the private channel, the direct line, and the "reach out when things get interesting" approach all exist. This is a real partnership, and I'll show up for you the same way I'd want you to show up for me.
The Application Process
- Apply — fill out the commercial license application and tell me about your shop. I want to see your existing storefront (or your plan), what you'd be selling, and get a sense of who I'm partnering with. This isn't a hurdle — it's how I make sure we're a good fit.
- Review — I read every application myself. Response within 5-10 business days.
- Sign your license — approved applicants get the license agreement to sign electronically.
- Choose your plan + activate — pay first cycle via Stripe (monthly / 6-month / annual), buy the packs you want to sell, and you're live. Welcome packet delivered, directory listing goes up within 48 hours, private Discord channel access unlocked.
FAQ
Do I get free access to any RT files with the license?
No — files are bought separately at retail, same as any customer. Your license covers the right to sell them commercially, not receiving them. You'll get 15% off future releases (same as Round Table subscribers), and occasional free files as our working relationship develops.
Do I have to buy the whole catalog?
Not at all. Buy just the packs you plan to sell. Some licensees pick up the full vault, some start with a handful and grow — whatever fits your business.
Can I modify designs for my customers?
Print-side modifications (scaling, minor tweaks for a specific print job) are totally normal and fine. What we can't do is sell a modified version as an RT design. If a customer wants something significantly customized, that might be "custom work" territory — reach out and we'll figure out how to handle it.
Can I use my own branding on my storefront?
Absolutely — use your brand, your name, your aesthetic. The RT logo goes ON your listings for RT prints (and prominently in your shop). It's an addition, not a takeover.
Can I sell internationally?
Yes. The license covers global sales to individual customers.
Do I have to sell ONLY RT designs in my shop?
Nope. Sell whatever you want. The license only covers the RT-branded prints.
What if a single customer wants to order a few thousand dollars worth from me?
Big individual orders are fine — that's a great customer, not mass production. What's not fine is running a supply chain for a business or retailer. As long as your buyer is an individual (or a small group), we're good.
Can I run a Kickstarter with RT designs?
Standard KS-style batch fulfillment isn't covered by the license. That said — if you've got a specific situation you're wondering about, message me before you commit to anything. Sometimes we can structure something that works.
What if I hit $10,000+ in RT sales in a year?
Congratulations! That's a good problem. Reach out and we'll figure out what the next stage of the partnership looks like. Bigger revenue often means better terms.
What if I want to design my own pieces that work with RT?
Message me first — please don't just build and sell. If it makes sense as a partnership, there's often a much better path than freelancing on the side. See "commissioned artists" above.
What about community-shared mods?
Community mods live in the Round Table subscriber community — the private mod-share channel in Discord and the subscribers-only community page on realmtiles.com. Subscriber-gated access: only active Round Table subscribers (Founding Knight / Knight) can view, download, or upload mods. Mods are always free, never sold for profit — by anyone. If you're a subscriber, grab them, use them, share your own. Just don't try to sell them.
Can I switch between monthly, 6-month, and annual plans?
Yes. When your current cycle ends, you can switch to a different plan. Prorating on mid-cycle switches is handled case-by-case — message me.
What if I want to cancel?
Cancel anytime, effective at the end of your current billing cycle. Physical prints you've already delivered stay with your customers. Once your license lapses, new sales stop and the RT logo comes off your listings.
What if my application is declined?
I'll tell you why — usually it's a quality-of-shop concern that's fixable (better photos, cleaner storefront). Fix it, come back, we'll try again. This isn't a one-shot thing.
